The Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), accredited by QUALIFI and regulated by Ofqual (UK), equips aspiring teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to begin or advance a global English teaching career. Covering grammar, phonology, classroom management, and lesson planning, this internationally recognised diploma is equivalent to a CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL and qualifies you to teach English to non-native speakers around the world.



Entry Requirements


  • Must be 18 years or older
  • A good level of spoken and written English is required
    (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers)
  • Two references (one academic preferred)
  • Applicants with relevant experience but no formal qualifications may also be considered

Qualification Structure

The Level 5 TEFL Diploma comprises 10 mandatory units totaling 40 credits and approximately 400 Total Qualification Time (TQT) hours.
